We can be disappointed and still see the silver lining.
We took a good team to the wire -on the road. And remember as of today Iowa State still has a chance to be the regular season champ and #1 seed in the Big 12.
Still work to do. Fun team to watch and we've had surprisingly good results (SDSU, Kansas, etc) this year. But for me, how we do in POST-SEASON play is what will define this season's team. And I believe this team has the potential to win a game or two. It's been about ten years since we made it to the second round. And other than Kansas's home field advantage in the Big 12 tourney, all games will essentially be on a neutral field.
