It’s fine. It’s similar to watching an ESPNU or ESPN2 broadcast, but with more
annoying announcers.
Watching it all on the ESPN app is kind of annoying (I haven’t found a good way to rewind or record games ahead of time to skip through commercials… you have to wait until the broadcast is over to access the recording), but at least unlike the P12N you can actually get the ESPN app on every device you care to watch on.
For basketball especially it’s fine. BYU football only played on ESPN+ once last year and that was for the body bag game. So it’s basically a non factor for football (again, unlike the P12N).
