We got pulled over for doing an illegal U-turn which everyone else was doing, but we happened to have the nicest car (mission van) and shirts and ties on. Cop said we could either pay the fine right then or he would confiscate our licenses. One of the Mexican elders hoped out and offered to give them money (200 pesos which back then was $20) for breakfast. The let us leave.
