That means a lot of fantastic, beat, expectation, years, and a few disappointing ones.

Utah fans understand what it takes to have an extremely successful season. It’s really difficult. And very, very, very few schools outside The Elite programs have had as much success Utah.

So most Utah guys get it.

You have to have some lucky breaks in your schedule. Have the ball bounce your way a couple times. Keep everyone healthy. You need a few guys to step up in emerge.

I mean, KC doesn’t win the Super Bowl if a pint doesn’t hit the back of someone’s ankle.

In a 16 team league, with parity across-the-board, it is going to be very, very difficult to win a championship.

Nobody really goes in expecting it. But the fact that you were in the race, means every one of your games, plus at least two or three other conference games have meeting to you.

That’s when the season gets really fun in my opinion.

BYU fans will love being in a P5. If they compete or contend for a Ch’ship this year, you’ll see how much more exciting it is.
