Totally agree with this line of thinking — if you can. However, a lot of people have wealth tied up in homes &
life insurance or retirement investments that aren't available now.
Know someone who bought each kid their first house. Nothing luxurious but that was his line of thinking too. Wouldn't that be wonderful? But most of us are no where near able to do that.
