The "P2" will never have enough opportunity (w/ 22 starting spots on rosters)...
to take over all the top talent coming out of HS each year.
There are ~35 5* players that come out of the HS ranks each year, there are about 450 - 4* and another 500+ solid mid to high-level 3* (and prob another 1000 low to mid 3*)
there are roughly 650 starting "P2" positions for upwards of 8-10K solid 3*+ prospects that will transition from HS to college over a players 4-5yr College career.
But realistically, there are probably only 200 of those positions available each season across the real blue bloods, unless you want to play for Minnesota, or Rutgers, or Vandy, or Nebraska, etc
