As Romeo Montague once said “there is no world without the walls of Verona”

If you can fit it in, go to Verona. It is like if Rome was nice. It was the largest Italian city in the Roman Empire (except Rome, obviously) so there are a lot of great historical sites to see including a coliseum called the Arena where you can still see shows.

The Arena is a more intact version of the Colluseum & will be used for opening ceremony of Olympics.
