If you’re renting a car, drive from Venice to Florence, stay however long you
want, and then continue over to Pisa. Can stop and see the Lamborghini museum in Bologna if you’d like. It’s like 2 hours from Venice to Florence and then 1 more hour from Florence to Pisa.

You can then make the 4 hour drive down the coast to Rome. Can see Elba island (where Napoleon was exiled) off the coast.

I did 1 full day in Venice. Woke up early and drove to Florence the following day and spent time there. Arrived in Pisa to sleep. Then spent the day in Pisa and drove down to Rome in the evening. Then spent 2 days in Rome, so a total of 5 days. Not sure how long your trip is, but you can comfortably fit all 4 cities in your trip in a quick 5 days if necessary.
