As most coaches will tell you, good D is effort. JR needs better effort. And
Jaxson is faster. Richie and Trey are more laterally quick than Hall. Dallin is a serviceable defender, and it shows up from time to time on court. Pair Dallin with Knell and you have an exploitable spot when facing really athletic teams. Hall-Knell is not a concern when playing average to decent athletic teams. BTW, I really like what Hall and Knell add to the team; it's just not on the defensive end, although they both give good effort. I think Pope will adjust as needed.
