There was pattern that BYU followed for years. Play well for a while then sometime into the season there was enough game film that teams learned what weaknesses BYU had and how others attacked the weaknesses. They also learned where the strengths were and how to limit the effectiveness of those strengths.

This years team has shown the ability score for the outside with 4 or five players. This is an area that other teams will need to work to diminish that effectiveness. BYU will need more consistent scoring from more inside players. the biggest problem BYU will need to correct is poor handling of pressure. When BYU gets into XII play handling will be BYU a major problem.

BYU is playing a lot of players. They have done well so far. But know injuries will thin the bench quality as frontline players start to wear down and miss time as a result of injuries. (Will Fousseyni be heathy enough to demand double teams?)

A cautious attitude may be the best way to go for another month or more.
