and it’s especially not a surprise to the TV networks who paid the SEC and Big Ten a bunch of money as a result and the Big 12 received their new TV contract to these corresponding TV numbers. This is not a surprise.
We knew all this months ago that this is how the TV numbers would be. The Big 12 is fine and it’s getting great placement on Fox and ESPN/ABC. Just keep putting up entertaining games and with the expanded 12 team playoff their will always be teams from the Big 12 in contention for those spots.
*the only surprise here is CU and if Deion can pull an upset or two to start next season CU will drive big numbers again.
