As to the actual merits of the decision, we know even less about that. I don’t know if ARod should have been fired, but I wouldn’t have been that sad if he was, and I do think his seat should be extremely hot. Maybe once the new staff is composed, this will all make more sense.
Clark seems like a great guy, and I’m sure he was doing his best, but it’s a fact that the TEs haven’t been much of a factor. Whether that’s because of philosophical differences or some other factors, there’s a logic behind it when it comes to overhauling the blocking and running game.
