Many wanted the 49ers to take Jets quarterback Zach Wilson in the 2021 NFL Draft. With his floundering, would things have been better with the Niners?

This wasn't some grand mystery from 2021 guys. Niners podcasts were talking about much they (Niners front office) wanted Zach.

Yes, they were confidant he'd be gone by pick 3 but they still had some glimmering hope.
