team in the Semis. Bennett kick'd Pope's tail pretty good to pull out that improbable victory. (And Pope admitted it right after the game.) The reason for Pope's consistent success against Randy is his kids always attack Bennett's offense very effectively.

And I'm not saying it wasn't hugely disappointing we dropped all three to them last season. Obviously, that sucked. But at least we weren't embarrassed. That was perhaps Bennett's strongest team. (His Aussie-loaded team back 6-7 years ago was NOT as tough as we made them look. In terms of size & balance they were great — but athletically, Mika & Co should have NEVER lost to them. And certainly not in the helpless ways they did. Defensively we weren't half as good as we shoulda been then.)
