he didn't take other jobs is his kids. He doesn't want to move his kids around while they are in school. (Edited) He didn't move south when he joined the BYU staff for a while, but drove from up north, so his kids could stay in the same schools (has now moved). I'm not sure how old his 4 kids are, but while there are kids at home in elementary, jr. high and /or high school, I think the only jobs he would take are BYU or Utah head coach. Maybe USU head coach.
