BYU fans are expecting a transition, but you can't compare Utah and TCU going
from the mountain west to the Pac 12 and Big 12. BYU played 5 pac 12 teams 2 years ago and beat them all.
The rivalry will go how the higher ups dictate it. If Utah's administration and coaches treat it with more respect and class, others will follow.
Since Urban, it trickled down to the fan base, and then BYU fans have reacted in kind. The culture can change. But there is no question the Utah administration has had a hand in the vitriol.
I want a friendly, competitive rivalry with GOOD sportsmanship, and respect.
