Fortunately, most of the hate mongering evangelicals have shamed most of their

Children and congregations away from God. Add that to Mormons being generally more accepting and welcoming that other ideas are allowed to exist in the same space. At least this has been my experience in a heavily evangelical community in the Tulsa OK area which has led to a fairly cordial relationship.
