If it wasn’t BYU’s stadium, I’d say the only things it has going for it is the
setting and it's a decent size. They seem to maintain it well and keep the field nice too. Otherwise I'd put it as average at best. Lots of bleachers, too gradual a seat pitch, no outer facade, the press box is a lot of concrete, the concourses are narrow and offer no views of the field…
Nostalgia goes a long way to explain the good feelings I have for LaVell Edwards Stadium.

"creature comforts"? It's a football stadium that you're there for about 3.5 hrs, 6 times per year. What do you expect?
