I can also confirm this
having sat on a few boards where this has been discussed. Football is too expensive and UVU has to regularly battle for every dollar that it gets just to fund expansion and programs. Barring a generous PRIVATE donation of $200-250 million dedicated solely to football, it's just not in the cards. The state has absolutely NO appetite to fund/subsidize another football program.

Stadium of fire is far from legit imo. The sound is terrible and the entire production come across as cheap and hokie
