Here is the danger of nil and maybe not a bad thing.
There was a kid from our town who got a psu Bball scholarship. He ended up being a role player for them. But all his childhood he’d been treated as a superstar. Led high school team to a state championship. I’m pretty sure school for him was not a priority.

He returned home after 4years with some uesless degree, and with a year became a total drug addict. He went from a physically impressive man to someone you’d never guess had been an athlete.

I’m not saying this happens to everyone, I’m just saying there is the danger of devaluation of education for these kids. Sure they can make more money in those 4 years then they probably could with their degrees, but many of them will just waste the money and opportunity. And when they are done, unless they understand the value of a good degree, they won’t be better off.
