elements may be nice to look at but they don't serve much of a purpose really. I doubt it impacts recruiting at all or even P5 status much.
BYU can use their money more wisely elsewhere until we reach the top of the B12 consistently. If we were building from scratch then sure, it might be nice to incorporate some architectural elements. It's easier to do that on new construction than renovations.
Now increasing seating capacity has a direct benefit to increasing revenue. But facade changes don't really have any return on the investment for a facility that is perfectly functional at the current time.
