Lake Powell and the CO river system will continue to drop. It isn’t a
drought issue, it’s an allocation issue.
Mankind takes more out of it than nature puts into it. That will always be the case regardless of climatological conditions.

Unfortunately not so great (yet) on the Colorado side where it matters for LP.

120-135% for the Upper Colorado basins before this storm. That is a very good snowpack.

Because snowfall in the state of Colorado represents the lion's share of water that ends up in Lake Powell. The Wind

Ah, yes. I didn't understand what he meant by that either. CO snowpack might not be nearing record levels like UT but

Yep. Solid year… but with LP reaching all-time low levels, it will take many,

None of the major Utah watersheds in UT will be 200% after this storm. A few smaller ones like SW Utah and SE Utah

Maybe not on record, but in 43 years anyway. What is the Collins study plot?

Colorado drainages were all about 120-135% of normal before this storm. Upper Green drainages in WY were about normal.

No it hasn't. It was chock full for sure in 1998, if not a couple years beyond that. And I think it filled up most years

According to internet Peak Fill was 1963.

That's incorrect. 1963 was the year that the dam was finished and the reservoir began to fill. First time it reached

I'm pretty sure 1983 is the highest it's ever been. It was over capacity that year. It's been at capacity since – but
