I am going through some of my old stuff and came across all my Boy Scout awards - merit badges, all the various rank badges, Eagle Scout award, etc etc. They have sat in my parents basement for most of the time, but I’ve got them with me after I cleaned out a box or two from my parents house.

What do you guys do with all your old scout stuff?

I loved my time doing scouts, but that was 25 years ago, and really since that time I grew pretty ambivalent toward it and ultimately was very happy to see the church part ways with BSA.

Usually I have no problem throwing things away, but for whatever reason it feels weird to just chuck all this stuff, and I’m not sure why.

Anyone else here in the same boat or done anything with them? Otherwise it feels like maybe I just take a picture of them and get rid of them.
