Your team is about to become a whipping boy in the SEC...
Frankly, for the last half of the season, it didn't look like OU had anything figured out—especially defense, which was supposed to be a strength given Venables' background.
You're watching your team through crimson-colored glasses, which is your prerogative as a fan. But if you think 6-7 OU is ready for the buzz-saw that is the SEC, you have another think coming. USC was worse without Riley and much, much better with him. OU was better with Riley and (based on program standards) appallingly bad without him.
Riley is the common denominator here.
