I'm not sure anyone will 100% agree with my opinion which is OK. I did a fair amount of research into the stats and
playing history of all involved (since I was being born in the heart of the Marc Wilson BYU era). I have seen games of almost all of them (never seen a Virgil Carter game) but like anyone who goes over a 50+ year time period I'm sure I have my biases.
