And the Pac12 has an attendance problem. Their fans don't travel and their
conference often has empty seats for conference rivalry games. The waning interest in football on the west coast is a real problem.
Not to mention that Oregon and Washington will bolt at the first chance they get, so that conference is on unstable ground. There's just no way any Big12 school will want to leave a stable conference, pay an $18 million exit fee, and give up the money that comes from sold out stadiums to go to the Pac12.

I think he's right. Most fans feel more comfortable with what they want than reality substantiates. B12 fans, PAC fans,
