Troublemaker
This gives the Arizonas some solid leverage
They can tell the Big12 that they're willing to stay in the PAC because Oregon and UW are. Big12 can call their bluff or sweeten the pot.

Interesting. It would be great to pry almost anyone away from PAC to put

I think most PAC schools look down on the Big 12, not just athletically but

I agree. I feel like AZ schools are slightly less snobby. Grab them first

I mean...I think any team would drop their conference for the B1G/SEC. That's not unique to Oregon & Washington

Yep. If even one more school jumps ship, it's over

How much weight should I put on a reporter’s “guess” over actual reporting?

Some. His guess is better than most re: PAC 12.

Normally I'd agree, but I think he's a little bit tied to this one personally

Wilner is a top source for the PAC12, so it's something worth considering

I think they'd prefer to stay in the PAC too...until the Big12 takes the AZs.

BigXII can call their bluff. Make them a reasonable offer

I don't think the AZs want to leave the PAC 12 if UO/UW are staying.

I don't think the AZs feel any loyalty to Oregon or Washington

True. They are about to lose their SoCal recruiting pipeline. Focus on TX now

It isn't about loyalty. I think they genuinely believe the P12 with UO and UW

Their judgement is clouded by the fact they're now the flagship of Pac12, replacing USC. Problem is that pride will

They can do that for sure. Just means their days are numbered and UO and UW are biding time.

If they can add big 12 teams they will. If not I think they stay at 10. Won't
