I won't be 'leaving the church', but I do get annoyed when sports is brought up in church. I did almost walk out of a priesthood lesson when the instructor tried to make a lame parable about Utah joining the PAC. Instead, I just looked at the ground and ignored what he was trying to present.

When we beat Utah this year, I didn't even wear a blue tie to church. I said nothing to any of my Utah fans in the ward. When Utah started winning, I saw lots of Utah ties and masks and even a red jacket by one of my friends after the Oregon wins.

My bishop and 2nd counselor are both Utah fans and my friends. But the bishop for sure doesn't bring up sports in church. My former boss and several team members are Utah fans. I'm friends with them. But they do get annoying. I play music in 2 bands with some Utah fans. Sigh.
