I worked for a number of years for a well-known snack food company, and we occasionally had people try similar scams. I worked with the food safety and quality testing programs at that company, and I’m intimately aware of the regulatory and industry standards for food production, and there is about a .001% chance of something like this happening at an American food production facility. Outside of the normal GMP’s and food safety procedures, there are several fail-safe’s built into the process like multiple metal detectors, magnets, and scales that can determine if the product is out of spec.
The pictures make this blatantly obvious that this is a complete scam designed to make Built Bar (and by association BYU) look bad.
