I’m one of those long term inactive members who went on a mission, attended BYU, and my fanhood is based in family. With all the ups and downs of life, familial challenges, BYU was always the connecting point. I connect with the players because they have similar stories to ours. They have diverse backgrounds like we do. Our coaches have had diverse ups and downs like we have. But BYU football has been our common love. Even when we have poor years, we are still connected.
