I have nothing personal against Baylor Romney. I just don't think that he is as near as talented, as Hall or Conover. I never saw what some of you have seen. While Romney did show an ability to get rid of the ball quickly and got a coiuple nice wins in relief of an injured Zach Wilson, he was asked to do very different things than Zach that season. I have never been impressed with his arm strength, and worry that against talentted teams he won't be able to zip passes into tight windows.

Hall is the best athlete at QB since Taysom but I think some are not sold on him because of what Taysom was. Taysom was an athlete playing QB and never had great touch our accuracy. None of us have seen Hall play enough to know if he is the same or if he can be a QB who can run. I do fully believe that if Hall can be a QB first and runner second, John Beck and A-Rod can bring that out of him. Hall has a very strong arm and is a trenendous athlete. He reminds me somewhat of Russell Wilson, and I am rooting for a ton of reasons, the least of which is that he is a legacy kid.

Conover certainly has the recruitng star power, but what he can do is largely unknown. If he reaches his potential, he will certainly be a starter at BYU.

I am hoping for Hall because he is the upper-classman with the most potential, he is a legacy kid, and he is a tremendous athlete. I also would like ot see BYU to have a QB pipeline again. Hall then Conover as the next man and we are maybe on the verge of being QB U again.
