I meant to say she may have reached a point and just snapped, couldn't take it anymore and simply walked away. Disassociated for a brief period of time....just mentally done.

I meant that when people reach this point or are getting close to it, that it's okay to take a mental health day so that it doesn't get to that point. Often times highly functioning people don't share their mental health struggles or might not even be aware they're in crisis.
