Now, this wasn't a typical conference call - we're in the middle of a huge acquisition, and this meeting was with the transition team preparing for Day 1 after the deal closes. Plus, it's completely out of character for my boss to be a no-show to anything, or not give any heads up if she's going to be late. I called her, but got no answer. Her bossed called her, but still no answer. I followed up with another call an hour later, along with a text. Still no response to all the calls and emails, and no communications from her.

HR called her emergency contact (husband), and found out that she went for a walk this morning and never came back. Her husband found her car still in the driveway, but she's not answering her work or personal cell phones (she left home with both), and none of her friends have heard anything from her. He's contacted the police and they're searching surrounding hospitals, but there's been no trace of her.
