Kansas City airport I bet was great PRE-9-11.... really short walks from the entrances (inside of the ring) to the Gates (outside the ring).

BUT, Post-9-11 it's insane. It's a bit better now with some "outer - outer" ring connection hallways to get from one section to another .... but still, it's bad. What was probably a great design pre-super tight security is now a really hard design to deal with Post-super Security.

ABQ Airport ... depends on your Gate ... A-8 to A-12 you are walking a long ways. One Tip ... there are bathrooms half way to the baggage claim that are way less crowded and usually cleaner!!! Skip the first a set and use the ones much later.

I'm not of fan of Las Vegas. I always feel like I am walking forever in Las Vegas. And the trams don't seem to be in the right place to me.... I feel like I'm walking to the tram one way, then riding a short hop, then walking back again. Oh course, I'm soooooo surprised that LasVegas hasn't built a NEW airport out side of town somewhere. McCarran seems to be sitting on some SUPER valuable land more or less right on the strip. The Rental Car at McCarran is a total disaster, and the approach roads seem tooo small. Rebuild outside of town a bit, with modern setups ... maybe even with a lightrail or subway to the Strip!!!
