Excuse me while I open the champagne, light a cigar, and cry about the injustice
The people who tanked the economy in 2008 and made out with 700 billion in taxpayer money are now upset that taxpayers outfoxed them.
On top of this, the hedge funds hemorrhaging money now made their money rooting for American companies to die and selling the stock to suckers to eat the loss. Their entire investment strategy centered on other people losing money and now they're upset that they are the other people. Now, they're trying to manipulate the price of silver, which is in many more retirement funds than AMC and Gamestop.
Zero sympathy. If anything they are lucky times have changed and they're going bankrupt instead of to the guillotine.
