Solar highways has been kicked around for a couple decades, who knows if we'll figure it out anytime soon.

but wireless charging is also being thought about and researched by some companies in the space. I wouldn't say you should hold your breath for it but with SAE behind a wireless charging standard and so many automakers on board it helps technology like this get a little momentum.

Charging an EV is hardly inconvenient but this is still a small bit of convenience that I think people will love.
