Troy has “southeastern” talent. That’s a much bigger deal than most casual fans
realize. Far superior speed and athleticism than most teams we typically face, especially the western schools. Remember how excited we were to get Chambers from Fla a few years back because of his speed and athleticism? He is exactly the type of player Troy is comprised of - good but not great by SEC and ACC standards.
We don’t want them to gain confidence as the game goes on. Just ask LSU, and they are not alone over the years.
