13.3% is only for households making $2 million or more
They’re still higher there but it doesn’t seem like a great comparison to show a state’s top marginal rate side-by-side with states who have flat rates. I know the map is clearly labelled, it just isn’t really useful. I’d be more interested in the tax rate for the median income or the rate that the most number of people pay. Like in CA the rate is 9.3% for $116k-$591k. A lot more households would pay that rate vs 13.3%
