I could, but why would I want to "get used" to something that tastes nasty, and is ALSO bad for you?
While I appreciate that your comments are a valid argument for many people, they are not persuasive to me personally. I could count on 1 hand the number of sodas I've had in the last 6 months. I prefer water, juice, or milk most of the time. On the infrequent occasions I do have a soda, I like it to taste good. It's usually for a root beer float, or occasionally for something slightly different than the norm.
