Yeah, and that's the question I'm answering. They distrust experts because they
think what they read on WebMD, or The Daily Wire, or Mother Jones told them all they need to know, and made sense to them, so an expert with conflicting perspective must be wrong and can't be trusted. That's arrogance causing distrust of experts.
