Our Stake President gave us (our stake priesthood) advice a few years ago when there was a rash of divorces in our stake. He told us not to use the divorce word, not to joke about divorce, not to use divorce as a threat. In short, don't let it even become an option in your mind. So I tend to not want to watch a brutal movie about divorce with my wife.

I admit to really liking War of the Roses, though I don't think my wife would like it as much.
