If Saints put a first round tender in Hill, a team that gives him an offer, will have to relinquish their 1st round pick to the saints, if hill signs with them (and saints don't match)

Same with 2nd round etc

So... All these people saying Washington (or whomever) should sign taysom, I don't think they full understand what they would give up

For example. Saints place a 1st round tender on Hill. Washington offers 3 years 15 mi for him. Saints don't match. Washington gets Hill and pays him 3/15. Saints get Joe Burrows or Chase Young.

Washington obvs won't make that offer sheet

What if it's a 2nd round tender? Would you give up your 2nd round pick for Taysom? Last year it was Derius Guice. This range each year has been Nick Chubb, Keyrron Johnson, Dalvin Cook (just names RB's in this range)

Do you take Taysom over Dalvin Cook?


IMO, if Saints put a 1st round tender, no one offers him a sheet. If they do a 2nd round, a few might and depending on the absurdity of the contract, Saints match
