Reading the ridiculous 🔥 takes here confirms it
The majority of cougarboard has become old, stale and boring. Those screaming these are “awful” and “hideous” and that ONLY A Y GOES ON OUR HELMET are just plain embarrassing at this point. These are an ALTERNATE and will be a very nice one at that. Tons of people have been begging to pair our whites w the royal blue and the sailer coug (freshman cap, old school coug, whatever) is a fantastic alternate logo. The players, prospective recruits and generally the majority of cougar nation under 40 will absolutely love these, so enough yelling to get off your lawns.
