Gordon is a two time Consensus All American and in the College Football Hall of Fame. However, he never won that national TE award, the Mackey award. Don't know where he stands on graduation or the in good standing clause. By the way no Coug TE has ever won the Mackey.

By the way Jason Buck and Mohammed Elewonbi both won the Outland and are Consensus All Americans but must not meet those other requirements.

Being an All American and winning a National Award does set a pretty high bar.
