I only invest in index funds and I'm up 39.6% the last 3 months
Though technically, 2 of my stocks are actually ETFs optioned on index funds.

My portfolio is as follows :

19% TECL
48% SPXL
34% SPY

Also, this is my fun money, my 401k is invested in whatever ETFs that vanguard suggests. I try not to ever look at that. Just have it automatically deposited from paycheck and pretend it doesn't exist.

Now that I'm thinking about it, the majority of my fun money is actually tied up in company stock with employee stock purchase plan and RSUs. I am afraid to take it out and get soaked in taxes. Sooner or later in going to have to bite the bullet though.
