(Kona and Kohala coast) and have zero interest in Oahu. Honolulu is a dump in my opinion. A hot/humid SF. I can see how you think Pearl Harbor is boring....those guys only saved the planet with no computers and nothing but guts, brains, a few DIESEL ships, and lots of bullets. Oh MY! the historical Boredom!

PCC was actually better than I thought it would be. We've been 2 times over the years, both times it was entertaining. But we don't go to Oahu, simply because of the fact that's it's a dump.

Too be fair, I've only been to Oahu and those two boring sights a couple of times out of the 20-25 times we've been to the Hawaiian Islands. I don't feel a pressing need to revisit Oahu though, because of its dump status.

I realize I am an outlier in that I can go to Hawaii (any island) and not go to the beach at all in 2 weeks. In the traditional sense anyway. Laying on a beach will NEVER happen in my life. I believe I'm the only person on the planet who can go to Hawaii and come back whiter than when I left. Which is fine by me.

I'm also fine with people not enjoying the Big Island as well as the others, we all need to enjoy our Hawaiian vacations, whatever the island.
