NFL combine has seen 45" vertical, and they only put in a few months of specialized training.
Take someone with the right genetics, who trains specifically (which apparently samburo do) and a 47-48" vertical isn't that far fetched.
Also, where he is standing before the jump could cause the illusion of more height.
