even if you just throw it in a paper bag and leave it on your desk until noon. Americans are over-the-top about food spoiling - to the point that we throw away a lot of food that is perfectly fine. Like sour milk. My mission companions would leave it out on the counter until it separated, then they would drink it. At first I was shocked, then I realized that Americans are just stupidly obsessed with bacteria. Sour milk is also great for baking. But I digress.
My main point is that it is kind of funny that if you think you need to refrigerate your food, that you would insulate your food from the refrigeration. The fact that it clutters up the fridge is icing on the cake. Not only will I not keep my food cold, I will also deny you that opportunity!
