Cause the office fridge is gross. You need to think about ambient temperatures

There's nothing odd about putting a lightly insulated bag in the fridge. It won't get warmer than the ambient fridge temperature, and if it's already warmer in the bag than the ambient fridge temp then in time the weakness of the insulation will let the cold through to make the insides fridge temperature.
