Reciprocal ignore is about turning your genpop experience into an echo chamber
where you don't have to see posts that challenge the thoughts and perspectives you share here. It's not about shutting down trolls. Legit trolls get suspended, banned and ignored to the point where their posts are rarely visible or noticed over time.

Unless your definition of "troll" is "poster who disagrees with me and tells me so," reciprocal ignore isn't about reducing trolling, except in the limited cases where it's used now to prevent persistent abuse.

I find it funny to have some of the people most likely to rail on "snowflake millenials" and "libs" trying to create safe spaces on college campuses and elsewhere clamoring for the CB equivalent of a safe space where their world view won't be challenged.
